About Us

We believe that music provides a link between people irrespective of language, culture or nationality.

We hope that music can bring people from different backgrounds together.

Yaso Ponnuthurai has organised the concerts throughout, with the aid of many good friends and helpers.

In our experience, music has helped those living in troubled times. For people hiding in bunkers from falling bombs or displaced from their homes, living in refugee camps, music has given comfort, a reminder of better times and hope for the future.

Indian Eye started promoting Carnatic music in Western Australia in 2004, with a concert given by Aruna Sairam. It has subsequently presented performances by Ghatam Karthick’s heartbeat, Khadri Gopalnath, T.N. Seshagopalan and Rajhesh Vaidhya, Bombay Jayasree and, O S Arun and Neyveli Santhanagopalan.
