Indianeye started promoting Carnatic music in Perth in 2004. Since then, it has organised concerts by many prominent artistes from India.

In 2014 Indianeye celebrated its tenth anniversary with a two-day festival.

It has become evident that we need to educate the younger generation about Carnatic music and build a larger audience for it in Perth. A small group commenced study with vocal Guru Neyveli Santhanagopalan in 2014. That group is now much larger and has presented annual Thyagaraja Aradhanas and ensembles.

I am currently a student of the well renowned Veena Artist, D.Srinivas of Hyderabad.

Indianeye conducts Veena classes in Western Australia.

Our goal is to continue to share and learn this beautiful art form and ensure it’s passed on to future generations in Perth. Indianeye presents monthly chamber concerts which provide a platform for children to perform and to increase their musical skills.

We retain our vision of creating a culture within which music can grow and develop beyond our own lifetimes.
